Breckenridge, Tex.. July S- The
Breckenrfdge pool has been extenvleo
six miles northwest of town by the
Pratt No 1 of the 8tephens Oil la
ureate which struck the gray lime
formation at a depth of M41 feet.
There are IOC feet of oil In the sole
and evidence of orach gas. The well
will be completed Just as soon as
storage tanks and pipe line conclu
sions can be maAe.
The best recent completion in the
North Breckenridge pool Is the W. C
Goodwin well of Walker A Perkins.
This well has Just increased its flow
again and is now doing better than
6000 barrels of high grade crude oil
daily ,

Mrs. R. J. Piitchard. who is spend
ing the summer at Ocean Park, Calif,
was robbed of her watch and her
pocketbook containing several dol
lars. Monday, according to a telegram
Mr. PrHchard received it the cham

sumed the watch and money were
taken from Mrs. Pritchard's locker
when she was at the beach.

Gets Big Crowd;
Parks Jammed
The people of El Paso parked their
worries Monday, to corrupt the slogan
of a local movie, house. They parked
them in every park In the dty. with
Washington park In the lead.
In addition to the sundodgers who
went to the anto club's picnic at West
Tsleta. to Juarez and to other cool
spots along the river, uptown parks
cot their crowds. Cleveland square
had the biggest aggregation In Its
history Monday night when the mu
nicipal band played Its first concert

People, old young and of both
sexes, filled every bench In this park
and there was a big mnover on the
grass and the curbing around the
square. The overflow went to Car
negie square. There was a fringe
of automobile listeners around It all
to say nothing of the crowded porches
of neighborhood residences and ho
