Populism Versus Pauperism.
By many these are considered
synonymous terms, at least I heard
one old plute say they were. But
they are nut.
True populism means prosperity.
Prosperity for all, not for the few.
Populism or peopleism means
Americanism, no more, no less,
that is all.
Populism means death to all
monopolies.
Populism means government
ownership and control of all puldic
or semi-puhlic enterprises.
It means money at cost, for the
people the same as for the national
bankers.
It means transportation at cost.
I means telegraph and telephone
service at cost.
It means employment for the
idle masses at productive labor.
It means homes for the homeless.
It means lands for the landless.
It means schools for the school
less.
It means justice instead of hand
me down charity for all.
It means law for the lawless.
It means the reorganization and
regeneration of society.
It means few if any real paupers.
It means fewer jails, prisons,
poorhoueea and soup houses.
It means less tramps, hoboes and
bums.
It means that blessed and happy
condition that Christ told us of
nearly twenty centuries ago. It
means "peace on earth and good
will to men.*'
Do you want it? If you do study
direct legislation and vote for it.
