No person shall engage In sny sport, amusement or occupa tion upon any street likely to frighten horses or embarrass the passage of vehicles. 15. No person who Is In an In toxicated condition shall drive any vehicle upon any street. 16. No vehicle or street car shall so occupy any street as to Interfere with or Interrupt the passage of other cars or vehicles. 17. Excepting as provided In Bule 22, street railway ears shall be entitled to the track, and in all cases where any vehicle on a street car track shall be overtaken by a street car, the driver of such ve hicle shall give way to said car as soon as possible: and In no event shall any vehicle overtaken by such car proceed on th* car track for a greater distance than one block, or after arriving at any street inter section; nor shall any person wil fully or purposely obstruct, hind er, delay or In any way Interfere with the operation of any street car or the passage of any vehicle. 18. No person riding a bicycle or any other vehicle shall take hold of any street car for the purpose of being carried along by such car. 19. The driver of any vehicle shall not permit the same to stand In any street within thirty-five feet of any fire hydrant, nor within ten feet of any street corner, nor at a greater distance than one foot from the curb; nor shall he permit such vehicle to stand In any position other than parallel to the curb ex cept while being loaded or un loaded or while taking on or let ting off passengers. 21. Drivers of vehicles and street cars shall at all times comply with any direction by voice or hand or other signal of any mem ber of the police force as to stop ping, starling, approaching or de parting from any place; the man ner or taking or discharging pas sengers, or loading or unloading goods. 22. The following vehicles shall have right of way on any street, viz: Apparatus of the Fire Depart ment; Police Patrol wagons; Ambulances responding to emer gency rails; Emergency repair wagons of street railway companies; and United States mall wagons. 23. Pedestrians shall have the right of way at street Intersec tions and crossings over all vehi cles except those named in Rule 22. Such automobile or motor vehi cle shall also have attached to th* i ear at least one red light of suffi cient candle power to bo visible from the rear for a distance of at least one hundred feet; Provided, however, in case such vehicle Is a motor cycle, one lighted lamp at tached to the front thereof show ing white to the front and red to the rear, of sufficient candle power to enable the driver thereof to se* ahead clearly for a distance of two hundred feet and which can be «een from the rear for a distance of one hundred feet, will be deemed a compliance with this rule. 31. No automobile shall be left* standing In any street or alley be tween the hours of sunset and sun rise w.thout having attached there- • to In a conspicuous place on each end thereof a light of sufficient candle power to be clearly visible for a distance of one hundred feet. 32. No motorcycle shall be left standing In any street or alley be tween the hours of sunset and sun rise without having attached there in In a conspicuous place, al least one lighted lamp of sufficient can dle power to be clearly visible from the front and rear for a distance of one hundred feet. 4 33. The driver of any automobile " or motor vehicle upon any street when approaching a horse-driven vehicle, or a horse upon which any person is riding shall exercise every reasonable precaution to prevent the frightening of such horse or hones, and if such horse or homes appear frightened the driver of such motor vehicle or automobile shall reduce He speed and If re quested by signal or otherwise by the driver of such horse or horses, he shall stop his machine, unless to do so would cause an accident, or unless the horse or horses ap pear to be under the control of th*, driver. 34. On paved streets In the City of Tacoma no automobile or motor vehicle shall be driven at a rate ■* of speed faster than twenty miles ■in hour, and on unpaved streets at ft rate of speed faster than lift.en miles an hour.
