Protection for Dives CHICAGO, March 30.—Two Independent gangs of collectors of money for "protection" of North Side resorts were disclosed today after an investigation by the state attorney's office. They involve neveral saloonkeepers and politicians. The collections of the second gang discovered are alleged to have been for the benefit of politi cians who had aided In the fluanclng of the campaign of Mayor Wil liam 11.. i. Thompson.
