NOTICE OF ELECTION.
Notice is hereby given to the qualified
voters of the town of Colville that the
annual election of said town will be held
on Tuesday, December 3rd, 1907, for
the purpose of electing three council
men to serve for the term of two years,
one councilman to serve for the term of
one year, and a city treasurer to serve
for the term of one year; also to vote
upon the question of raising the town
of Colville from a city of the fourth
class to a city of the third class.
The officers of said election to be W.
H. Pryor, inspector; A. F. Perkins and
S. F. Sherwood, judges.
The polling place to be in the city
council room in the Court house in said
town, and the polls to be open from
9.00 a. m. until 7.00 p. m. on said day.
Only voters who are otherwise quali
fied and have registered in the town of
Colville since Jan. Ist, 1907, are quali
fied to vote at said election.

In the Superior Court of the state of Washing
ton, in and for the county of Stevens.
A. Morrison, plaintiff, vs. J. Morrison, defend
ant.
The state of Washington to the said defendant,
J. Morrison:
You are hereby summoned to appear within
sixty days after the date of the first publication
of this summons, to-wit: Within sixty days after
the ninth day of November, 1907, and defend the
above entitled action in the above entitled court,
and answer the complaint of the plaintiff and
serve a copy of your answer upon the undersigned
attorneys for plaintiff at their office below stated;
and in case of your failure so to do judgment will
be rendered against you according to the de
mands of the complaint which has been filed with
the clerk of said court. The object of this action is
to obtain a divorce on the ground of abandonment
for more than one year and refusal and neglect of
defendant to make suitable provisions for his fam
ily.
