I This film shows the actual fitting! 0 Gossard corsets and woven around the fittings is a beautiful story en titled "How Marjorle Won a Ca per"' it required almost three months to complete this film and the Emerson store is to be congratu lated on being able to get an early run on the film. Complimentary passes are being issued to the ladies of Pullman in the corset department of Emerson's. You can get as many as you like for yourself and friends. ■ Moving pictures are certainly cov ering a wide range of activities and there is no telling what one will see next at the movies. That they are exercising a wonderful education of influence no one can deny aud we -have no doubt that the Emerson store will be besieged for requests to this matinee for women only. NOTICE TO CITIZENS OF PULLMAN In as much as there seems to be an organization of professional tramps and beggars making their headquarters in and near Pullman and that they from time to time have been canvassing the business men for money and the housewives for food and clothing, the following instruc tions are to relieve the citizens of this embarrassing situation: The Chamber of Commerce, together with the Social Welfare League, and the City administration, have agreed that all beggars shall be sent to .Mr. Bruce Lampson at the Variety Store, who will carefully investigate all re quests for food and shelter, and If the party is found worthy, he will be fed and otherwise taken care of by the above organizations.
