New York Evening Post. Honeymoon Start Made on Horseback London A romantic honeymoon, quite in the olden style, has been be gun by William Asteli Kaye and his bride, who were married at Arncliffe, Yorkshire. Instead of driving prosaically to the railway station, or boarding an auto mobile, they had the picturesque idea to rid away on white horses. Escort ed by three bridesmaids and three cavaliers, the bride and bridegroom rode northward for the lake district. The bride, who was Miss Phoebe Johnson, daughter sof Walter Johnson, of Arncliffe hall, looked charming in a gray riding habit, with a black vel vet collar, whita waistcoat, white straw tricorn hat, and white gaunt lets. This equestrian honeymoon was quite In keeping with the traditions of Yorkshire, which is as horse- as the blue grass region of Kentucky. Water honeymoons, commenced in rowing boats or motor launches, have become quite common, following the example of the Marquis of Butel who bore away his bride In his yacht, bringing her to the vessel in a boat rowed by retainers in old world cos tumes.
