Mr. Bullington says the people of his neighborhood are very much interested in the movement to build a good road through that section into New ark. The Independence County Equalization Board completed its labors and adjourned last Friday, after having been in session three days. Very few changes were made in the as sessments of the county. The board is composed of W. W. Magness of this place, W. J. Caldwell of Oil Trough and A. R. Tunstall of Batesville. Miss Lucy Lawton who has been operator for the White River Telephone Co., here for a number of years, has resign ed her position.
