Some months ago Mr, Frank Stewart had a pistol stolen from him. He was unable ever to find the thief. Yssterday he was in the rear of Brannon Bros., in a room on the second floor. While there he laid a pair of hand cuffs on a table. He forgot the cuffs and went down stairs, leaving them on the table. Later missing the hand cuffs he re turned to the room to get them but they were gone. He inquired of every body in at Brannons, Robert Giles being the first person he in quired of. Mr. Stewart offered Giles $5.00 if be would find the hand-cuffs. Last night he was discovered with the pistol that Mr. Stewart had lost, on his person. The hand cuffs and another pistol were also found in his possession. Wrhen arrested he said that the pistol be longed to his brother, Louis Giles, who was also arrested.
