They very kindly divided with their friends. There will be Sunday school, tem perance rally in connection with the V. P. U. at the Baptist church this coming Sunday night at 7 o’clock. Children from each Sunday school will take part. Everybody cordially in vited to attend to see and hear what the children have to do and say. The Saints people have painted their church and it improves the looks very much and adds to the good ap pearance of the town. Also a number are making improvements on their homes, among them: F. L. Jackson, T. K. Moore, Ed Poe, Jim Stokes. Our town, we think is making as good showing as any ol its size on the Kan sas City Southern in the way of neat, cozy homes. Let the good work go on. M. E. Wolf left Saturday for Hora tio, where he will hold a few days meetling. George Lunsford of this place lost a fine milch-cow last week by a tree falling on her. Misses Lula and Lucy Hill returned from Shady Point. Ok., Monday after being gone some weeks. Thomas Hamrick is here from Shady Point, Ok., shaking hands with friends and drinking pure water. Several of the young people gath ered at the home of Mrs. tFLle hdav Sunday in honor of the 18th birth of her son Frank.
