i ALMANAC WEATHER PREDICTIONS. 1st to 4th—Warm and stormy over eastern half country; sudden changes to colder in west and northwest. 5th to 8th - Cold period in most sections. 9th to 12th Generally fair in west. 13th to 16th—Much warmer with a general rain period. 17th to 20th -Cold and windy in most sections east of Rocky Moun tains, 21st to 24th—Unsettled in middle United States; heavy frosts in south eastern states. 25th to 28th- -Generally fair period, cold nights; heavy frosts in South. 29th to 31st—Generally fair and windy; local storms. WEATHER RECORDS IN MENA. Normal mean temperature, 52.7 degrees, and it is very rare that as low as 20 degrees is reached. The normal precipitation is 5.22 inches, this only being ex ceeded in May.
