Colony Camps Near Potash Sulpher
Springs But Will Be in the City
in a Short Time.
More than 250 Italians composing
a large colony of laborerj, are busy
at work placing the large gas pipe
mains which will soon furnish Hot
■Springs with natural gas from the
Caddo, 'I-a., oil and gas fields.
The colony of Italians are camped
near Potash Sulpher Springs depot on
the Rock Island this week, and are
working this way. They are placing
about one mile of pipe every nuy now.

Smith Business Man.
A quiet wedding was performed yes
terday afternoon in which the prin
cipals were I-ester Sieard, a promi
nent vehicle dea er of Fort Smith, and
Miss Estelle Kirkland, of this city.
The couple left immediately for Fort
Smith, which will Ik? their future
home. The bride is a beautiful young
girl, and the daughter of one of the
pioneer citizens of Hot Springs, her
father having been connected with
the (lost office here for many years.
