POUGHERTY ANNOUNCES.

Fourth Ward in the Coming
City Primary.
Harry Dougherty, of the St, Charles
Hotel, announces this morning as a
candidate for alderman from the
Fourth ward, his candidacy being
subject to the action of the democra
tic city primary of January 17.

Henry Weimar, the popular drug

tion to the office of alderman from
the Fifth ward, his candidacy being
subject to the action of the demo
cratic primary.
Mr. Weimar entered his municipal
duties at the urgent request of a

ers of Ids ward, and his fidelity to
the people of bis section has made
him a roost popular official. In the
