W atch for the announcements and i dates of these two-reel specials. WHITTINGTON PARK. An extra special feature will be shown this evening in the summer the ater at Whittington park. It is the' Solax company’s masterpiece, three j reel production of "Fra Diavolo,” adapted from the famous grand opera by that name. Tlhis feature reel is three thousand feet in length, and one of the best ever produced by any com pany. The story of the famous bandit, Fra Diavolo, is well known io theater go ers as one of the most interesting set lo music, ft is a strong love story, pleasing in its way an ! intensely in teresting and gripping from start to finish. The hold-up of the old stage coach by Fra Diavolo, and the bandit's sudden meeting with the woman of his affections are higlnly exciting, and I form a feature part of the picture. | The Solax company has spared no expense to make this picture a mas terpiece. and their efforts have not i been in vain. It has been declared by critics the country over to be the high- : est conception ot motion photography , and acting. In addition to this feature picture, there will be two free vaudeville acts,1 both of which are musical ones, so all I will be reminded by this they are wit nessing one of tlie most famous grand operas in motion pictures. NEW CENTRAL THEATER. Edison's groat film, "The City of Washington,” is the feature attraction at ihe New Central today, it is one of the greatest educational films in the “See America First” liue, which has yet been shown at this popular theater. Edison has brought to light some of the real interesting features of Washington life and the picture wi'l he of interest to everybody. Ltibin’s "A Fly Time” is both edu cational and comic. Tlie matter of the location of the national sanitarium of the order was left to the decision of the supreme council, and this body notified the Hot (Springs delegation that this eiiy would he selected as the site for the institu tion. For the building and support oi the sanitarium the convention unanim ously assessed a per capita tax ofll.Ob. A delegation of the supreme officers will visit this city within a short time, inspect the sites that have been offer ed and close up the final arrangements for the building of the sanitarium.
