King of the Blood.
“Alkano Remedy Cn., Kansas City,
Mo. Gentlemen: Three years ago 1
contracted contagious blood poison,
cook treatment from our best, doctors,
have taken the mercury and potash
treatment and others. After all of
this 140 deep sores came on my body,
arms, legs and face. My mouth and
throat were so sore 1 could not eat
nor drink. I had not eaten one bite
for six days and was nearly dead when
the agent for Alkano called to see me,
I took a bottle from him, not expect
ing to be benefited, and to my sur
prise, in a few days my mouth and
hroat were healed, and I could eat
and drink. 1 nave npw taken Alkano
three weeks and the 140 deep sores
are all healed up. 1 have gained 47
pounds in weight; rheumatism all
gone; sleep well; can eat six times a
day. I hud stomach trouble when 1
contracted this disease. Alkano has
cured that as well as other troubles.
“Alkano is a sure blood renovator.
Five dollars is cheap for 'bis great

has blood troubles to try it. Yours

t. “REN F. SPRUILL,”
It Is now’ well recognized that the
reatments ordinarily given for this
disease, leased on powerful minerals,
are very harmful to the system, they
have a tendency to deaden the twprve
ami muscular tissue, especially the
former. The result is apt to show up
in later years in tlie form of paralysis,
locomotor ataxia, rheumatism, etc.
Even blindness sometimes results.
Tills may not occur for many years,
but 111 all cases where these drugs
have been taken, the danger always
exists. These afflictions, as well as
tubers long considered as after effects
if the disease, are now admitted to re
sult not from the disease Itself, but
from these drugs.
Then why take these drugs when
Alkano is even more ceriain of curing
the disease than they, and never has
any evil after effects, but always
b aves the system thoroughly cleansed
and restored. . ,„
Alkano cures all forms of diseases
and disorders of the blood.

Race For County Judge Brings To
gether the Six Candidates All of
Whom Seem Ther'e to Stay.
When the hour lhand reached six
o’clock in the office or Secretary G.
E. ifogaboom of the Garland County
Democratic Committee, last evening
the time had come when entrants to
the great race of March 25, in the
democratic primary could no longer
enter the field. Every candidate who
had announced for office had up to
that time paid his fee to have his
name on the ticket with the single
exception of Lige Reeves, who was
to be a candidate for constable.
The time for filing pledges had ex
pired some days before, but the fact
that a pledge had been signed qualify
ing a candidate did not neessarily
mean that lie would be on the ticket.
The paying of the fee. however, as
was done yesterday, means that ev
ery candidate previous to that time,
will he on the county ticket.
There are six candidates for coun
ty and probate judge all duly quali
fied. The field is composed of Moon
ey. Buchanan, l.akenan, Alford, Ruth
erford, Westcott. The vote no doubt
will lie split. Every candidate thinks
that he will lie tllte winner. With
such a divided vote it will not re
quire an extremly large following for
('. S. McClard, who had failed to
file Ills pledge in time, but who later
paid tile admission fee so lie might
lie a candidate for justice of the
peace, had later withdrawn (his applt
cation to appear on the ticket, and
that, question has been disposed of.
There would have been a question as
to whether or not he could serve, had
he gone through and lhave been elect
