Hams, when she visited there with
Miss Dunn. With remarkable com
posure the child replied to the ques
tions of Attorney J S Rates for the
defense.
She passed her father lu the aisle
without any sipn of recognition and
when Attorney Estes pointed to the
defendant and asked tier if she re
momb.red her father, whom she had
not seen since last .June, the child
answered in the affirmative. She had
no love for her father, she said. At
this statement Couch sobbed audibly.
