Harrison Vote for Parish and Hasty. Their election means much for Baca county. Ere we go to press again the terrible strain will be over. We've been through the mill, use to poll the precincts in our sleep. No man has a more extended acquaintance in this Senatorial district than “Newt” Parrish, and no man has more friends or is better acquainted with the needs of the people. As stated in a former issue, during the past 20 odd years more than $40,000 has been extended on the tax rolls for state purposes and the building of the Two Buttes bridge is the First thing ever done by the state for Baca county. This and the bridge at Clay creek is to the credit of Hon. A. N. Par- j rish. “Dr. John S. Hasty, as a user ful member of the legislature and a man well qualified by years j of residence to know the needs ■ of Prowers and Baca counties, Dr. Hasty is a happy choice, pri marily because his early training has been with the rank and file of our people, and like his ver satile conferrer, Mr. Parrish, he knows the people and is never too proud to recognize them. His election means volumes for the two counties.” NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION. (Publisher) Department of the Interior United Staten Lund Office Lamar. Colorado, Oct. 25, 1910.
