Curtis has gone to Holly with his string of relay horses. C. S. Bray and family visited a few days at the Knox ranch this week. The Davis and JCrill [families went to the dam Sunday. A. C. Curtis had the misfor tune to have one of his best race horses killed by lightning re cently. Mrs. E. Hall gave a birthday dinner in honor of Mr. Hall’s 70th birthday. Quite a number were present and enjoyed the hospitality of these good people. Harry Massingale expects to return to Kansas City in the near future. Vilas Budget Glen Yokum has returned from Pueblo.
