Rinehart quarters northeast of
town, has himself moved onto
the land to put it in older for
his family, which will move oil
in the spring.
B. P. Lamport was in the coun
ty seat over Monday night and
reports a large crowd at the sale
on the 30th ult., and that cattle
sold at a high figure. Horses
did not sell so well, it being the
wrong time in the year. All the
other stuff sold well.
We are informed that the dy
ing machine on the last day of
the Lamar fair—Friday, rose
easily from the ground and flew
over the town and the fair
grounds like a great big bird—
as one of the spectators put it,
like a great big buzzard. The
Baca delegation went one day too
soon.
