Edler May 10. \ Wedding bells ring out the olid and ring in the new. \ Only yesterday one among V those of our many favorite girls was msrried, and today we are all joiuing in extending to her our best wishes; but still there is covered up in our minds the the thought that she has gone from among us, never to return SB of yore, and in one sense she has passed beyond the vela where we will no her"no more as we knew bar in childhood dsys. But such is live and we still have the consoling thought that while we have lost one dear to all of us, others have gained in her a valuable friend and neigh bor and a noble citizen, while ',her husband is rich with the re- I ward for such a noble girl fer a : wife and a life companion. Miss Ella has passed to an honorable calling and we all join in extending good thoughts to her in her last chosen and most honorable position. We all hope that she proves well worthy of her new environment, and that she makes as good a wife as she did a noble girl. The above are the thoughts of a friend, and the following is the announcement of two of our esteemed young peo ple who were married in Spring field, May 7th, 1921. The names of the participants are Mr. Wil liam Warman and Miss Ella Na gle, both of Edler, Colo. They i are at present visiting friendsin : Lamar, and will in about three i weeks be at home to their many . friends on their homestead, four , teen miles west of Edler, Colo. Charles Bosley and family have m vc.l to Lamar where he is in terested in transfer business, ha having secured a large truck which he keeps moving like a fish oi:t of water. Waiter Keck has returned from an extended auto trip through Oklahoma and Texas and reports that crop conditions do not look favorable on acconnt of a shortage of moisture. We are informed that Ed Mis ner will soon close the garage of this place and move temporarly to the home of hi* father in Kan sas to remain during harvest times, after which they will rec tum to their homestead. > | Rain is very much j these parts to stimuft'*. Meador ' and daughter Beva attended church at the Plaiuview school house Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Meador called an Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dykes'Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs A. H. Barrett received word that their daugh ter Miss Ciara was married > n the 4th of May in Denver tu Ray Nichols of Konantz. Rev. W. J. Web: l r. an evan galist minister for the Holiness church, is holding a revival meeting at Plainv'ew school house. Ho is an able speaker and all would feel wdfi repaid to x hear him.
