McClintock, county superintend j e it, of Otero county, assisted by the following corps of instructors: I Miss Birdie F. Adams, .specialist in Kindergarten and Primary work, l’ueblo public schools, S. M. Andrews, Supt. of city schools, Walsenburg, Colo :E. A. Schreck, Supt. of city schools, Las Animas Colo. In addition to these teach ers, who will give their full time to the institute, the Executive Committee plans to have teach ers, who will < ffor special cour ses in music and penmanship, and if possible, someone will be secured to present work in art. A list of competent speakers is being secured, ono or whom will be scheduled to present an ad dress at a general session of the members of the institute, each day during the entire session. The committee hopes to be able to secure a group of speakers who will present a wide range of discussions all of which will have a direct bearing on the work of teachers during the coming school year. Special instruction will be pro vided in the following subjects: arithmetic, history, geography, grammar, civics, reading, school law, agriculture, natural science, psychology, scientific meausure inents, primary methods, con st t notion work, games and folk dances, music and penmanship. From the above list it U hoped that every teacher wijl be able to select at least four subjects which be of Special benefit in connection with her work as a teacher in the putoic schools Each teacher attending the in stitute for the two weeks period and submitting to tbe instructors a ga'isfactory outline of the work taken will be entitled to ao addi tion of five per aapt which will be added to her average jo the regular county teachers examin ation which will follow.
