The Teachers Normal Institute opened Monday morning in the public school building at 8:00 o’clock, with a good enrollment The corps of instructors con sists of Prof. Dubach, of Kansas City, and formerly of Colorado Springs; Prof. Keeley, of the Manitou schools; Miss Doble, ef one of the Denver schools and Prof. Smith, our agricultural man from Ft Collins. The second week a short course in Domestic Science will be given by Miss Haggart, of Ft Collins, to which everybody is invited. The work is progressing beau tifully—everybody full of vim and vigor—a very strong interest in all the work is shown by all. The class in School Law is being, conducted by Supt Matthews, who has had the practical work for two consecutive terms in Lin coln county, and whose work there has been very efficient The work in Grammar, Physi ology, Elementary Science, Psy chology and School Management is given in a most interesting way by Prof. Keeley, as is shown by the interest and attendance in his classes. Prof. Dubach has charge of the work in Arithmetic, Civics, Geography and History, includ ing all current events and topics. Primary Methods, Music, Drawing, Literature, and Pen manship are being given by Miss Doble, whose love of Hie work enthuses and inspires all under her instruction. Altogether a stronger corps of instructors could not be employed and the executive committee is to be congratulated on having se cured their services. The en rollment this first week will reach eighty, and we hope to reach the 100 mark before Institute closes. The towns-people are cordially invited to attend any or all of the classes, lectures and enter tainments during the entire ses sion. Friday night Miss Hillko witz will give an entertainment on the art of story telling, in the assembly room at the school building. On Wednesday eve ning of the coming week, S. Poulter Morris will give an il lustrated lecture. All other lec tures and entertainments will be announced daily, and no admis sion is charged. Everybody cor dially invited. Mrs. Emha M.
