Prompt and efficient service at all times. || |j jj Cheyenne County Telephone Company the exact date and hour of the opening of the new fire proof an nex had not been announced and had been kept a secret, never theless, six hours after its open ing every room was occupied and the house has been well filled ever since that time. The fact that each room contains a private bath with rates from t 1.50 to $4.00 per day, is accountable for the supply of rooms being exhausted so quickly. The fact is, The Albany is now able to supply nearly every one of its patrons with a room with pri vate bath, and the rooms which are rated at $1.50 and $2.00 per day are In constant demand,' but. no doubt as soon as the tourist season is over The Albany will have a sufficient number of rooms with bath to supply the de mand. The furnishings and equipment of The Albany Hotel’s new building arei superior to anything in the way of hotel furnishings ever seen in Denver, the patterns being especially designed by Manager Dutton, nothing like it ever having been attempted before. The new promenade and the Com plexion Garden, which is the name of the principal cafe, have already made a great hit with the Denver people, and they must be seen to be appreci ated. The many social functions al ready booked for the fall and winter months is ample proof that the Denver public has passed its approval upon what The Albany has accomplished in the last few months. Political Announcement. So the people may know my policies. If I am elected Representative, I prom ise to use my influence for the adop tion of the following laws: A law to exterminate prairie dogß. A 2-cent per mile rate on all railroads in the State east of the mountains. A new fence and herd law, that will protect the homesteader as well as the stockman, and to be adopted by vote of the differ ent counties of the State. A Good Roads law, that will compel the Railroads to make flood crossings, in place of the dangerous ones they now have. If Prohibition is not adopted at the coming election, I promise to work for the adoption of the "eight o’clock closing law” for saloons, which has been so satis* factory to all parties in Nebraska for the past two years. I am in favor of State Regula tion of freight, express, telephone and telegraph rates. If you are with me, boost Yours for the people. Dr. Frederick W. Buck. —From the Flagler Progress. James A. McCrumb, who ad vertised for his horses last week found them near Stockholm.
