Mr. W. F. Wyant of Arapahoe was in Cheyenne Wells Wednes day. .Mr. Chas, Daigger and child ren attended the show in Chey enne Wells Tuesday evening. The show Tuesday evening was a grand success. Many stunts were “pulled off” which made it very comical. Chas. Counts sure has some “beautiful doll” for a girl and Chas. Boyd had better quit wink ing at her before she does tell her “fellow”. , DISTRICT NO. 7 Little Alice Petty was quite 'sick for a few days last week, Mrs. Murry and children of 'Denver are visiting wiih Mr. -and Mrs. Biggs. Misses Evely and Adah Ireland • are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. I B. D. Piatt this week. Mrs. Ann t Bozarth of Stanford Illinois and Misses Evelyn and Adah Ireland ■of Marion, Kans. were the guests j • of honor. j .Mrs. Oleson treated her friends j to a surprise last week by going to tribune and marrying Mr. | djumion of Oklahoma. In return their neighbors met in the even ing and gave them a surprise! party in which the noise was .only second to the good wishes ■which their friends extend to it hem. ! A very pleasant meeting of the 'Country. Club was held at the ihome of Mrs. B. D. Piatt last Tuesday, beside the members there was a number of visitors •.present who enjoyed the meet ing very much. After the meet ing Mrs. Hiatt served angel food .cake and lemonade, which gave .a very enjoyable finish to the -.meeting. This week the club •wiil meet at the home of Mrs. ] jEmery Petty The Farmers Annual Picnic j •will be held at the home of W. 11. j Skinner cn Thursday August sth ! 'There will be several speakers (present who will give talks on subjects .of interest to farmers of Eastern Colorado.
