Dora Pearl, mother of Joe, of
Lenora Kansas, came up from
Weskan, Kans. last Sunday and

people are former old time neigh
bors of us and were very much
pleased to receive a visit from

It is with regret, that we an- j
i bounce the departure cf Rev. F. j
j W. Grunwald and wife from our
' midst. Mr. Grunwald was as
j signed to Ft Collins to which
j place they went last Monday
morning. During their short
residence in this City they have
made ahost of friends who with
the Record family will greatly
miss them, but what is Cheyenne
Wells loss is Ft Collins gain, and
we hope the people of that City
will appreciate their effort in
every way, for they are nice re
fined young people.
Carlson thought he was pulling
a “hot one” when he began to
charge James R. Noland, Dem
ocratic nominee for Secretary of
State, with being a tool of the
Post, because Noland at one time
worked as a reporter on the Post, j
At about the same time the fact j
came out that the real tool of the;
Post was John E- Ram or, Carl-j
son’s secretary of state. This'
was proven by the records which !
show that Ramer accepted the;
Post’s head law petition a day af
ter the date of acceptance expired
The last date of filing was July 6
The petition was filed by Ramer,
by order of the Post, on July 7,
and dated back. The records
prove this charge and show who
is the real tool of the Post. Carl
son sure shot a boomerang when
he pulled that “Post tool” stuff.

Vote on November 7th. be sure
