Bateman, of MediJl, was a business visitor at Cneyenne Wells Saturday. Arthur Welle, of Scribner, Neb., moved on to his farm near Arapahoe this week. Walter Snyder of Arapahce, was a Cheyenne Wells visitor Tuesday. Hugh Swartz, of Weskan, Kans., was a business visitor at Cheyenne Wells Saturday. Mr. Nyrene. of Weskan, Kans was in Cheyenne Wells Wednes day on business. E. A Marolf of Sheridan Lake, came in Monday and had his name enrolled on our books. Owing to the present outlook for crops J. W. Adams is putting* his silos about 10 feet deeper. Harry Hill returned to Castle Rock last Friday evening a fte a few days visit with relatives. S. W. Baber came down from Den ver the latter part of last week and is now at the home of his parents north oi town. We arc pleased to state that Mrs. G. C. Calvert has so far recovered as to be able to be out on our streets occasionally. Mrs. Morelli of Castle Rock came in on Wednesday mornings train and is visiting her parents S. C. Hill in this vicinity. Win. Rich, of Sheridan Lake, was in Cheyenne Wells Saturday and while here had his subscription pushed ahead—Thanks. ' John Owens is now a happy man he having struck a good well of water at 240 ft. with 23 ft. of water.
