Correll departed the first of the week for Long mont, ( 010., where she will join her husband and make her future home. Mrs. Sam Williams, a former resident of our little city but who now claims Los Angeles, Calif., as her abiding place, was a Chey enne Wells visitor several days last week. ' Mrs. Sam Snyder came up from her home at Arapahoe the first of the week and has been at the Kaufmann hospital for several days where she has been receiv ing medical attention. Howard Henderson, state organizer of the Modern Wood man of America, died in Colorado Springs on B'ebruary 27th, with Black smallpox. Mr. Henderson was very well known in this city. Geo. Hawkins, of Araaphoe, brought his two little daughters to Cheyenne Wells the first of the week in order that they may receive medical attention. The young ladies have been quite ill for some time. The Morrelli- Brannon case up before the Justice court last Monday created a little excite ment for the town folks.
