THE COPPER ERA, CLIFTON, ARIZ., OCT. 12, 1899. A Mother's Thanks and Gratitude. From the bottom of a sad heart I de sire to thank all of my kind friends for their aid and comfort, their sympathy and condolence extended to nib at the time of the death of my beloved son, George McCormack. I aUo wish to express my sincere ap preciation of the public bonsr and res pect paid to bis memory by the Spanish American Societies of Clifton, Morenci and Metcalf, by their graceful presence in the funeral procession. To the pious priest of the parish for his gracious ministration of the last rites of the holy church, on that occasion, I hold under sacred obligations. To those who lovingly placed flowers upon his grave, and to those who stood so reverently bowed in prayer around it, I most gratefully offer a mother's bless ing. Mrs, Leandra L. McUobm ack.
