Well, rest assured that our friend Dan Lynch will be ajble to present the socialistic principles as related to the high cost of living in all its truthfulness. Geo. Ghizoni. Fin. See's S. P. & A. .Socialist Meeting The Cliftod branch, of the socialist party ofAmerica held their weekly meeting at the Casino club room last Monday night and after regular busi ness was disposed of an address was ! delivered by Walter Doudna, socialist candidate for state senator. He chose as his subject 'The Relative Position of the Socialist Party and the Trusts.!' Mr. Doudna's talk was yery interesting as the topic of the trusts is a very live one and deserves the earnest and sincere study of every man who has the interests of the peo ple at heart. The weekly meetings by the social ists of Clifton are held every Monday night and let it be understood that any person is at liberty to attend and propound any question that may be asked as to the issues of the day or on the principles of socialism. It is guaranteed that if you come once you will come again. The socialists hope to have a few able speakers to speak from the stump during the present campaign aud vital questions will be handled and not generalities alone. On next Monday night Comrade Daniel Lynch will make a few re marks on the subject of the old story "The High Cost of Living." Here is The Traveling Salesman The laughing success of the season, "The Traveling Salesman,-' by James Forbes, will be the offering at the Armory on November 28th on which date the original New York and Chi cago production comes to tbU city. The story of The Traveling Sales man concerns Bob Blake, a jovial, fat drummer, who is compelled to spend Christmas day in a lonely village of the middle west, and on his arrival finds in the presence of Beth Elliott, the ticket agent at the depot, a most congenia' person. ' They strike up an acquaintance which soon ripens into affection and for the first time in his life the young drummer discovers that he is enthralled with the sweet ness and beauty of a charming young lady. Through her he learns that she is about to louse a tract of land and be at once takes steps to protect her rights and thereby runs counter to his employer, who has laid plans to obtain what the girl believes to be a piece of worthless real estate, but which has recently assumed consider able value as it is needed by the rail road company to complete some im provements they have in view. Blake jeopardizes his own position by es pousing the rights of the girl, and this leads to many complications. The comedy of tbe play is of the rol licking breezy sort, and the love making secenes between Bob Blake and Beth Elliott are of the most de licious character. Included in the company's roster are Don MacMillan, a comedian of wide experience who plays Bob Blake the drummer, and Dorothy Grey, who is said to be an ideal Beth Elliott. KEARNEV, ATTORNEY AT LAW.
