Mrs. \V. L. Johnson, who has on several occasions proven herself a splendid entertainer presented "Polly anna,' cellent and was received hy an aud ience of about 150 peoiJe, with close attention. At the close of the recital the reader was given a great ovation which plainly showed that they thor o tghly appreciated the high class en tertainment given them. A number of musical selections wero also presented during the even ing, each scoriug a decided hit. Mist: Floy Rose, Miss Viola Madden and Mr. J. 11. Burnett each sang a solo, an were accompanied on the piano by Mrs. J. II. Curtis. Miss Jessie Madden and Miss Blanche Burnett, resfiectively. Miss Vina Jasper and Miss Esther Itlddle gnve a violin and piano duet. The Junior girls of the grange saug a couple of fine songs. The musical numbers were all well received and encores were Insisted on by the delighted listeners. The entertainment was put on to raise enough money to make final payment on the grange piano, which is being used at all community meet ings held In the school house. The results were very gratifying and grunge members who have been some what concerned about this debt, crp now breathe easier, and do express their gratitude to all who helped.
