Schools Close Again.
Superintendent Rebberg was
taken with the influenza last Fri
day and two. other teachers, Mrs.
Omans and -Miss Mae McLeod,
were ill also, so the school was
closed at once and will probably
remain closed until the flu is eu
; tirely w iped out of Kamiah. There

but the illness of the superinteu
dent and so many of the teachers
settled the matter without action
of the board. -Miss Richmond is
also siek at Orofiuo, having gone

Ben Lookingglass, one of the
leading men of the Xez Perec In
diaiis, as well as one of the weal
thiest, died suddenly Saturday
morning of heart failure. He had

Henry, of Kamiah, and two sis

thu, of Lapwai, survive him.—
