SPOKANE LIVE STOCK MARKET, As reported by the P. W. Murphy Com mission Co. for the week ending Janu ary 18. Cattle receipts this week have been quite large with the trading a little •slow in most classes. Steers of the bet ter types were moving fairly well, but the market has been a little slow on the medium grades. A number of steers sold this week at $13.3.! to $13.50. The market for cow stuff tins Deen a little weaker, with the supply exceeding the demand. Prices are steady to a little weaker on all classes. Calves remain about steady with last week at $9 to $12. Prices this week range as fol lows: $13 to $14; good Prime steers, choice steers, $ 11.50 to $12.50; common to fair steers, $7 to $9; chice cows and heifers, $10.00 to $11.00; medium good cows and heifers, 8.50 to 9.50; common to medium cows and heifers, 0.50 to 8.50; canncrs, 4.00 to 5.00; bull; 0.50 to 8.50; calves, 9.00 to 12.00. There have been several cars of sheep on the market this week and the demand has been fairly good at prices about steady with last week. Notice is hereby given that on the 11th day of February, A. D., 1919, be tween the hours of eight o'clock in the forenoon and seven o'clock in the af ternoon, on said day, a special election will be held by the qualified electors residing on the lands contained within the boundaries herein below set forth, and for the purpose of this election, the lands within the boundaries of the proposed district shall constitute one election precinct. The polling place of said election is hereby designated to be at that certain school building located within said dis trict in the county of Lewis, State of Idaho, known as the Sunset school house in school district No. 28 of said county and state. The qualifications of an elector to vote at said election shall bo the same, as that of a voter at any general elel:t tion held in the state of Idaho, with the additional provision that the elec tor must be a resident the boundaries of the proposed highway district and no previous registration shall be nec essary. Said election is to be held for the purpose of determining whether or not a highway district shall be created under the provisions of chapter.!.!, Ses sion Laws of 1911 of the state of Ida ho, and the amendments thereto and to be known as, the North of Lewis County, thereof, Highway District Idaho. The lands to be included within such proposed district are set out in the pe tition and by map on file in the office of the clerk of the Board of County Commissioners of the county of Lewis, state of Idaho, to which reference is hereby made, and said lands proposed to be included are enclosed within the following described boundaries, to-wit: "Beginning at the mouth of the Meek Canyon, where the Meek Canyon Creek empties into the Big Canyon Creek; thence running in a southeaster ly direction up said Meek Canyon Creek to the north line of section 15, township 34 north, range one west of the Boise Meridian; thence east to the middle of the north line of section 14, township 34 north, range one west of the Boise Meridian; thence south one and one-half miles; thence east three miles; thence south one mile; thence east three miles; thence north to the Little Canyon Creek; thence down the Little Canyon Creek to the point where the same flows into the Big Canyon Creek; thence up the Big Canyon Creek to the point of beginning.
