Erickson, the Kippen saw mill man, formerly a citizen of Troy, has been found guilty of dumping saw dust into a creek. He was fined $100 and costs, and may appeal the case. Erick son contends that the saw dust was dumped into nothing but a dry gulch, which sometimes fills with water which carries the saw dust into running creeks. The three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Green was quite badly burned Friday by backing into a wash boiler containing a little boiling water. There were some clothes in the boiler, which together with the fact that there was but little water in the boiler, probably saved the little girl's life.
