Ideal weather brought out a large crowd and when the last rocket rent the air and lighted the sky with ita balls of fire, was ended one of the most beautiful spectacles of its kind ever produced in Milwaukee The scene opened before the city Jericho, the walls of which extended the full length of the amphitheatet. It was night and the gu.trds marched up and down silently, oblivious of the spies who had entered the city by the aid of Rahab. Then came Joshua, at the head of his army 300 strong, armed, in their picturesque costumes and bearing the altar from which Joshua invoked the wrath of God upon the Jerichoans. Seven times they marched around the city and when they appeared the last time Joshua's prayer was answered. Loud sounding crashes rang th.ougj the air. hissing booms and rockets shot into the sky from behind the stone turrets and flames leaped into the air from all parts of the city, lighting tne whole brighter than day. I Finally the walls fell and the city was taken. *'A shower of sparks spread across the sky and revealed the portrait of Mayor D. S. Rose. A shout went up and cheers rent the air. At last a frame of light spelled "good night" and the crowd left the grounds.—Capital News Sept 26th. Five Years of Heart Trouble Cured by Dr. Mile»' Heart Remedy "Before I began taking Dr. Miles' Heart Remedy I had been suffering from heart trouble for over five years. I had pains in my left side, and under my shoulder blade, could not sleep on the left side, and was so short of breath the least exertion would bring on the most distress ing palpitation. I had scarcely taken a half bottle of the Heart Remedy before I could see a marked change in my condition. When I had taken six bottles I was cured.' MRS. C. C. GORKEY, Northfield, Va. If there is fluttering or palpi- 1 tation it is an indication of a ! weakness of the nerves and mus- , cles of the heart. It is not neces- j sarily diseased—just weak from ! over-work. The heart may be weak just the same as the eyes, stomach or other organs. You can make a weak heart strong by taking Dr. Miles' Heart Rem edy. Get a bottle from your druggist, take it according to di rections, and if it does not bene fit he will return your money. j JOHN R. BANKS UVERV, FEED » SALE STABIL Good Rigs and prompt attention.
