I am a member of Company I Fourth Tonnessco Regiment Vol unteers and in tho battallion organ ized in West Tennessee. Our regiment is now full, and its equipment is about complete. Wo aro awaiting orders to move. Tho boy3 are satisfied with their officers, and have tho utmost con fidence in them. The officers are Captain Alexander and First Lieut John Bell, of Union City, and Sec ond Lieut Sam D. McAllister, of Nashville. We aro two miles northeast of Knoxvillo on a small lako, and have a nice place for camp. There is also a nice park near here, and ex cellent water. We get plenty to eat and a comfortablo place to sleep. Monoy is somewhat scare in camp, but we are expecting pay this week. Company I is a nice company.
