Mr. Swindle has been married twice, and is living with his second wife. He has reared eight chil dren, seven of whom are living, and partly reared six step children. Justice C. M. M. Harris, his step son, has furnished us the following statistics of the family, showing the number of the descendants of Mr. Swindle, which are of more than ordinary interest to our readers: Besides eight children and six step children, he has seventy-four, grand children, one hundred great grand children and fivo 'great great . grandchildren; he has three sons-in-law, ten daughters-in-law, twenty-one grand sons-in-law, seventeen. grand daughters-in-law, one great grand son-in-law, two great grand daughters-in-law.
