Mr. Curtis is a city official on a good salary, Mr. Dyer has a splendid position with an insur ance company, Mr. Morgan has a good position with a mercan tile firm, arid Mr, Denny has built up a nice grocery business. I also had dinner one Sunday with old White' County friends while in Ft. Worth; '' Kearney, Missouri We are sure having some hot and dry weather. Said land is levied on as the property of Anderson Stamps and subject to his homestead rights, the same being that part of his farm set apart to him as a homestead in the case of H. D. Whitson, and others vs. An derson Stamps by T. B. Jackson, Put nam County Surveyor, A. J. Dudney and W. u. Maxwell as commissioners, on the 2nd day of March, 1911, (See map of survey on file in said case) and 1 herewith return this levy with the pa pers to the Circuit Court for condemna tion and order of sale. Stamps, I will on Saturday, July 15th, 1911, at 1 o'clock, in front of the court house door in the town of Cookeville, sell to the highest and best bidder for cash in hand, the tract of land describ ed in said decree, and levied on as the property of A. Stamps, which levy and boundary of land is in the words follow ing: This execution came to hand in due time and after making diligent search I find no personal property of the de fendant in my county. I therefore levy this execution on all the right, title and interest the, defendant, Anderson Stamps, has in and to the following tie- scribed tract of land in the second tjiv- il District of Putnam County, Tenn., and bounded as follows: On the north by Pinkston, east by Holman, south by Clark, and west by Nicholas, containing 137 acres more or less, subject to' four former levies here tofore made on said land, one Whitson Bros. vs. defendant; two H. D. Whit son et aU against defendant; and one J. G. Jones against Vance Stamps et als. as appears in the proceedings here tofore filed in this court. The above tract of land has heretofore been lev ied upon and commissioners appointed who nave duly set apart the homestead as reported in the case of H. D. Whit son et als against A. Stamps. This is duly levied upon the lands outside the homestead, subject to the executions levied In the two cases-of H. D. Whit son et als, and on the homestead, sub ject to the homestead rights of the de fendant and also subject to the execu tion of Whitson Bros.- and that of J. G. Jones against Vance Stamps et als.
