G., presiding, with a good attendance for a Friday night meeting. Quite a lot of routine bus iness was disposed of. The sick bro thers were all reported as some better except Bro. E. D. Staley, who is thought to be a little worse, a compl ication of Dropsy being manifest. The first degree was conferred upon one applicant. Our next meeting promises to be veiy interesting. Some important committees are due to render interesting reports, also the second degree will likely be given to four applicants. Bro. J. H. Hodge is still at the Red Boiling Springs and we under stand is making some progress , in recuperation in health. Bro. J. M. Judd has returned from a 10 days visit to the Red Boiling Spring. While there he visited the I. 0. 0. F. Lodge twice and is very profuse in praise of their work It is the proper thing to do, to visit Lodge when and where convenient. The price, of each of these books is 90 cents postpaid. Every teacher knows that they must be examined in these books no matter what kind of a certificate they hold. These are all the books that will be in the Reading Course this year, and both Primary and Secondary teachers will be examined in these.
