G. presiding over a good attendance. Considerable routine and other business was trans- acted.-'; Bros. E. D. Staley and C M. Buck were reported as still doing no good in way of recovery. Bro. R. F. Pippin, strange to relate, after his protracted affliction still seems to be improving though somewhat slowly. The 3rd degree was conferred upon three applicants. Several committees made reports. From the present out look the proposition of hall building by v the Lodge is a live wire and something . is doing, even if some do regard the matter as too visionary. Shares of stock of $10. each will very likelyin a short time be offered to all members and in fact to any and all who can ap preciate the importance of such a build ing in this community. A full explana tion of the enterprise will appear in circular form very likely in a short while. Every one should aid this move as it will fill a long felt want of this community. V . Special Election, A special election is hereby ; ordered to be held at the regular voting place in the Eighth Civil District of Putnam County, Tennessee, on Saturday, Nov. 11, 1911, for the purpose of electing a Justice of the Peace for said district to fill out the unexpired term of A. G. Ciouse, resigned, and the following of ficers are hereby appointed to open and hold said election and proper returns make of the same, in the manner re required by law. . Officer-W. M.
