Mrs. Geo. Joyner and daughter, Mrs. Sid Wiley, returned this week from a visit to relatives in Mississippi. Mrs. Paul Crockett and sister, Miss Irene Forester, of Obion, enjoyed quite a pleasant trip to Memphis Monday. Mrs. Jeff. Williams and daughter, Miss Stella, of Maple Grove neighbor hood, were in the city Monday shopping. Mr. and Mrs. Blake and children, of Paragould, Ark. , are the guests of Mrs. L. L. Strother, after five months in the Hall-Moody Institute at Martin, is with her parents for the va cation. Rev. Geo. Evans, who has been sta tioned in St. Louis for some time, is in Union City for a few days visit among his friends. Milam, a prominent resident of Leesburg, Fla., County Judge and at torney, is in Union City visiting the family of his brother, L. L. Milam, Esq.
