W. I. McDaniel visited his son, A.
O. McDaniel, pear Kedron Saturday
and Sunday
Rev. W. A. Lamkin has returned
to the Crystal Circuit. He has lots
of friends here who wish him a suc
cessful year among his churches.
Sam Hampton is going to build
a garage for his new Ford that car
ries him over the road as swiftly as
the old eagle that flew over Spain.
Rev. N. M. Stigler has been called
as pastor at Mount Olive for hall
time. He will preach the second and
fourth Sundays.
Debow Rice has moved to the John
Cunningham farm near Protemus
that he and Jim Rice recently
bought.
I trust Col. Jim Brice, of the
News-Banner, and Morgan Blake, of
Nashville Banner, will not prophesy
any more as to the result of the elec
tion. When it comes to forecasting
the results of an election the above
named gentlemen would stand away
down foot in an Infant's class.
Lee Norrid has the sympathy of
the entire community in the loss of
his store by fire last Thursday night.
Early Friday morning hundreds of
people had gathered on the grounds
and watched the bloodhounds trail
to the home of a competitor.
Charley Shepard, of near Okalona,
Miss., has bought the Monroe Vaught
farm and moved back last week. Mr.
Shenard was born and reared in the
Shepard School community and he
and family have lots of friends here
who will welcome them to their new
home. " v
Mrs. Nell Adams happened to a
very painful accident recently, step
ping on a nail in a plank that some
of the workmen had carelessly let
fall from the new building. The
nail left an ugly wound and this
closed up before healing inside. Dr.
Prather was called to lance it and
she is doing nicely now.
RHEUMATISM ARRESTED
Many people Buffer the tortures of
lame muscles and stiffened joints because
of impurities in the blood, and each suc
ceeding attack seems more acute until
rheumatism has invaded the whole system.
To arrest rheumatism it is quite as'im
portant to improve your general health as
to purify your bloodand the cod liver oil
in Scott's Emulsion is nature'sgreat blood
maker, while its medicinal nourishment
strengthens the organs to expel the
impurities and upbuild your strength. :
Pott's Emulsion is helping thousands
every day who could not find other relief.
