Says Vinol Creates Strength
Rosary Hill Home, Hawthorne, N.Y.
"I have used Vinol for many run
down, weak or emaciated patients with
benefit. One young woman was so weak

for aid. I supplied Vinol to her liberally
and in a month I hardly recognized her.
She was strong, her color charming and
ber cheeks rounded out." Mother M.

All Tired Out.
At the moving pictures we many
thrilling pictures see;
I am worn out and excited from
the strain.
Every day some fresh galoot draws
a gun and starts to shoot,
And the perils of the hero tire my
brain.
I have tried to stand the test, but I
really need a rest
And a transfer to a less exciting
realm.
I may be an awful mutt, but I rath
er wish they'd put
"How to Know Our Native Wild
Flowers" on a film.

Accidently Shot.
Max Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs
b. P. Harris, this city, while out
hunting with his friend, Leonard
Phebus, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Phebus, Jr., last Saturday, a short
distance from town, was accidently
shot. Leonard's gun was accidently
discharged while pointing towards
Max, and the shot, about forty al
together, entered the latter's thigh,
and made a considerablv wounded
leg. Max was taken home and is a
shut-in where he 'will probably be
for some days until healed. For-
I tunate that the shot did not pene
trate a vital spot.
James P. Clarke's Support Adds In
fluence to Those Who Favor.
Washington, Dec. 4. Prospects
for passage of the administration
ship bill at the coming session of
Congress were brightened to-night
when it became known that Senator
James P. Clarke of Arkansas, who
led the Democratic revolt against the
ship bill in the last session, looked
with favor on the new bill proposed
by government heads.
Senator Clarke, who was renomi
nated for president pro tern by the
majority of the Senate caucus, after
a spirited fight against him based
on his opposition to the bill, let it
be known that he would not oppose
the new measure.
The Arkansas Senator, during the
debate in caucus Friday, was asked
for his opinion of the new bill. He
said he saw no objection to it and
could give it his support. His op
position to the bill last spring, he
said, was because of its government;
ownership feature. The new bill
contemplates a naval auxiliary mer
chant marine, which he could favor,
and provides for government owner
ship of stock only in case pr.ate
capital is lacking.
