The Obion County Medical Society enjoyed an outing on Heelfoot Lake last Wednesday, with; a number, of guests from other sections, of the State. The officers, Dr. W. F. Roberts and Dr. P. W. Bos well, .lla Glover, Dar nell and Glennon of Obion, Dr. White of Rives and Dr. Smith of Pultori. ' Among the visiting doctors were Drs. JBaird and Brewer of DyersSurg and Dr. Haskell of Memphis. A feature of the meeting was the paper of Dr. Haskell, of Memphis, "Empyema and Its Treatment." A large number of ladies and gentle men were present and a fine fishfry dinner was enjoyed.
