THE GOVERNMENT CLEAN UP SQUAD is Ready and Anxious to Help YOU. We are starting a Clean Up Campaign at Union City, Oct. 6, 7, and 8, for men living in Obion, Weakley and the upper part of Gibson Counties. We want to help every one of our Disabled Comrades to secure the Benefits that the United States Government has offered. This squad is to adjust the claims of the Disabled Ex-Service Men. If you haven't a Disability and .appear before this squad you are taking the time and attention that rightfully belongs to your Disabled Comrade. : : : : The Government is furnish ing the State of Tennessee with a general "Cleanup Squad" consisting of govern ment Physicians, Contract Officers, Vocational Educa tional Officers, and represen tatives of the different de partments and the intentions of this squad are to get in touch with every ex-serivce man who has a Disability. : If you have had a claim pending for two months or more, or if you are entitled to compensation, hospital treatment or voca tional training, see the Red Cross or have them write Manager Clean Up Campaign, 3 1 0 Holston Bank Building, Knoxville, Term., and transportation will be mailed ,youatonce. Meals and lodging will be taken care of by the Government on your arrival and after appearing before the squad you will be furnished transportation to return to your home. If you have been requested to se cure affidavits or additional medical evidence connecting your disability with the ser vice secure this information and bring it with you. This will be of great assistance in the prompt adjustment of your claim. If you haven't filed a claim bring your discharge with you. If you have Red Cross or American Legion in your vicinity they will be glad to assist you and order your transportation for you.
