He stated that a county hos pital was discussed and indorsed by the society. Dr. J. B. Bond was in dorsed for the position of superinten dent of the Western Hospital at Bol ivar. Mrs. W. Y. Pickard, who has been at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, the past two weeks, for surgical treatment for appendicitis, is very much improved and will be able, it is thought, to return home during the next few days. Mrs. Pickard was visiting at Waverly when she became ill and went from there to Nashville She was accompanied by Mr. Pickard.
