December 15. 19C57 CITIZENS* ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES ANNOUNCED Stanley 3, Rider, president of the G-reenbelt Citizens* Association, announc es the following appointments of chair men of executive committees, which have, been approved by the executive officers: Legislative - Clendon Allred; Educa tion- Nathan Schein; Recreation - Harold Alderton; Town Administration - Don Wagstaff; Social Welfare - Ruth Haves; Membership - Edward Thornhill. There were also appointed the follow*- ing special committees: Transportation; Mr. Porter, chairman, Mrs. Morgan, Mr. Strickler, Mr. Stidham, Mr. Benefi.el; Boy Scout Troop; Messrs. Alderton, Nanna, Schein, Schoeb, and Steinlile. Advisory Committee on Cooperatives; Mr. Carroll, chairman, Messrs. Berkalew, Custer, Nance, and Schwarz, Mrs. Brower, Mrs. Palls, Mrs. Maryn, Mrs. Newton, and Mrs. Reamy. The members of the Boy Scout Troop Committee will elect their own chairman. Applicants for the position of Scoutmas ter or Assistant Scoutmaster are asked to submit their applications to any of the committeemen. Through . the efforts of this committee the Farm Security Administration has reopened ne gotiations with transit companies to fur nish transportation under conitract. This committee has a.lso been assured that the cooperative aspect of transportation for Creenbelt will be studied by the F.S.A- R. P. WILDE JOINS COMMUNITY CHOIR Volunteer Singer Comes from New England Conservatory of Music Fred L. Wilde, once a student of the New England Conservatory of Music at Boston, is one of the latest volunteer singers here with the Community Church Choir. Employed in the Division of Animal Husbandry at Bel'tsville, Md., Mr. Wilde continues his interest in vocal music and has won widespread appreciation among music lovers of this region. Coming here from Astoria, N.
