Gyeftnbclt Corperator EXPRESS PUS SERVICE The contract for bus service to and from Washington is agreed to by the Farm Security Administration and the Capital Transit Co. of waghimgixyu The route and schedule will be posted on the bulletin board in the store and will take effect on the morning bf Jan uary 3rd. * At a transportation meeting,’Monday a week ago, Mr. Praden pointed out that a definite income had to be guaranteed to the Capital Transit Co., and if the revenue taken in does not meet this re quirement the Farm Security Administra tion will make up the difference. .fnis difference will therefore be corfte a responsibility of the Greenbeit Administration and will be taken from the real estate revenue of Greenbeit, leaving our Administration less money with which to operate the’various units of * the town. It, therefore, becomes our dity to use this service whenever possible so that we, in turn, will receive a great er amount of public service from the • Administration. Since Greenbeit needs an adequate service to and from Washington, it be comes our responsibility to help obtain this service. R.P* The committee responsible for the attractive- stage decorations at the school auditorium, deserve heartiest thanks from the community. The beaut iful. display of pines and holly, not only cheered the church congregation during two services, but the entire townsfolk at the children's Christmas party.
