Edward Shepherd, of Harrisbug, 111.,
says: "Having received so much bene

does first class work.
N.B. We wish to correct a few er
rors of last week's issue concerning the
town election. Supervisors were John
Bock, chairman, with The Highway
Overseers & Pond Masters should be
changed about.
John Klossner sold his personal ef
fects last Friday at auction. The tarn
out was good and bidding sharp.

-A young attorney made his appear
ance at G. W. Somerville's house the
other day and loek possession of the

A new time table went into effect

Keegan Bros, have given the inter
ior of their store a new dress in the
way of a coat of paint.
Miss Mary Retzlaff was married
last Wednesday to Mr. Krumschroeder
of St. Paul. The wedding was held at
Fred Meyers, west of town. All pres
ent saj. it was a grand wedding.
Mr. J, Phelps has returned from
Duluth and has given up the idea of lo
cating there at present. That is right,
stick to Sleepy Eye.
Win. Rounds, assistant train dis
patcher, who has been absent for a
couple of weeks, returned the other
day and brought a lady with him whom
he ills Mi s. Rounds. Joy be unto thee,

Mr. Jacob Klossner tarried in
Sleepy E\e one day last week. Mr.
Klossner is adding a general supply of

Mr. Chas. Fierke, partner of J. J.
Raj, Springfield, passed thiough here
one day List week on his way home
from the saintly city.
Mr. August Kissner, who lives
notth of the lane, is quite sick.
Next Sunday there will be a quar
terly meeting held at the German Evan
gelical church. Rev. Bunse of Manka
to will conduct the services. Every
body is mvided.
Mr. Henry Patch, of Nicollet, tar
ried in our city Monday.
