I Compare Our Printing with that of other offices and you will under stand why we get Greenwood Work. A Great Amusement treat. For the past few days the proverbial small boy—yes, and a large number of the big boys,. too, some of whom have gray hairs in their whiskers—have been keen observers of the muPi-coIored posters which adorn the bill boards of Greenwood announcing the fact, that the Great "So Different" Shows, the Sun Brothers' Greater Progressive Carnival Exhibitions, will appear in this city on Monday, Oct. 4. While the Sun Broth ers' Show does not claim to be the very largest or the "biggest show" on earth, it is concededly, one of the best all around latter-day amusement carnivals traveling in America. The wild animal display is a prom inent factor with this show and must be seen to be thoroughly appreciated. Much pleasant Instruction and profit able knowledge are to be gained from a visit to this all-embracing Zoology Ex hibit. More can be learned in one honr spent with these living specimens of subjagated ferocity than in months and years with books. The trained animal contingent is also strong this season, and includes an immensity of trained menage and high school horses, trick elephants, comic burly bears, educated lions, etc., all of their exploits are of a modern calibre and worth seeing. The sensational free out-door at tractions at 12:30 o'clock, are said to be really thsi Hing and of a most meritor ious character. ! « i : B. T. SAYRE ELECTED At a special election Thursday in Beat one, Hon. B. T Sayre was elected, without opposition, Sup Full returns will ervisor. be given in our next issue. To Thine Own Self Be True. Neither 4 borrower nor a lender be; For loan oft loses both itself and friend, Ând borrowing dulls the edge of hus bandry. This above all; to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. X 4 Shakespeare. IT'S YOUR KIDNEYS. * Don't Mistake the Cause of Your Troubles. A Greenwood Gitizen Shows How to Cure Them. 4 t i Many people never suspect their kid If suffering from a weak, lame or ! neys. aching back they think that it is only a muscular weakness; when urinary trou ble sets in they think it will soon cor rect itself. And so it is with all the other sjmptoms of kidney disorders. That is just where the danger lies. You must cure these troubles or they may lead to diabetes or Bright's disease. The best reroedy to use is Doan's Kid ney Pills. It cures all ills which are eaused by weak or diseased kidneys. Greenwood people testify to permanent 4 1 cures, J. T. Rogers, 314 Fulton St., Green wood, Miss., says: "About three years ago I was attacked by severe pains in my right side and across my kidneys. I could not stoop or lift and in the morn ing I could not arise in bed, being obliged to slide out on the floor. The kidney secretions were highly colored and the passages were attended by a scalding sensation. I finally decided that my trouble came from disordered kidneys and I accordingly procured a box ^ Do*»' 8 Kidney Pills at Chandler's They soon restored my 1 condition and then t * 4 < drug store, kidneys to a norma, all the other difficulties Since then when I have taken DoaT 18 Kidney Pills, they, have always given me the desired benefit." ❖ disappeared. Whereas, our Almighty Father, in his inscrutable wisdom, has seen fit to take from our midst one of the oldest and most honored citizens, Capt. W. Ray, the father of our own beloved brothers, W . L. Ray and G. L. Ray, and whereas we feel deeply for them in their so great loss, Therefore be it resolved, first, that we, members of Leflore Lodge No. 46, Knights of Pythias, extend to our two brothers our heartfelt sympathy in their extreme bereavement, and in the loss of so wise a counsellor. Second: That these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of this lodge, and copies of the same t>e sent to oar two I»cloved brothers, and the local pa pers for publication. L. N. CHANDLER, B. H.
