by said notes, in order to pay the
amonnt due on said notes, will within

Coart Bouse of Leflore County, in the
City of Greenwood. Mississippi, on
Monday, the 21st. day of August, A. D.

1911 Term of he Lnflore county
circuit Court that ne was indicted for
murder, and that upon arraignment,
upon the advice of his attornies, plead
guilty to the ebarge, and u|«on
agreement with the. district attorney,
was only given one year upon the county
farm oogether v/ith the payment of all
costs accrued in the cause.
Further that your petitioner in
November was remanded to jail and
there was continuosly kept until the
January court and up to the present
date ha« been confined within the jail
and on the eounty farm eight months,
and that there remains six months of
sentence.
That your petitioner would further
show that since his incarceration, in
the counts jail and confinement to the
Leflore County convict Farm, that he
has made a model prisoner, and has
continuously served as a trusty, and
would state that be deems that be has
been si fficienty punished by the crime
committed by him, that he is assured
that he penitent for his wrong doing,
and that for these and the above
reasons,
your Excellency that he be granted
executive leniency, that he be given a
pardon and his liberty be restored to
him.
